Well this past week we had Ellie's 16 month check up. Here are some bits about Ellie:
- She is 21.9 lbs and 30 inches tall. Overall she is in the 25 percentile.
- Ellie can say more words than I can count. Some are Puppy, Mommy, Dada, Papa, Kitty, Look, Mine, See, No, Yes, and many more.
- This little girl loves to look at animals! Books, pictures, or out the window at them, anything.
- She cannot stand tv! She will turn it off so that she becomes the center of attention!
- Her favorite foods are hotdogs, cheese, or any fruit! She would eat those anytime and anywhere!
- Sometimes she will be a cuddle bug but most often she just wants to be left alone. However, she is not stingy with her hugs and kisses.
- Ellie is very much a Daddy's girl! She loves to play with her dad! They will play in her room for an hour or two before she gets bored. They love to play with blocks, ride her horse or turtle, and of course play with her dolls!
- She also loves daycare!!! She would live at Jenny's I think! She loves the kids and the ladies there. When it is time to come home she will hide and run and throw the biggest fits ever. Somedays she will cry the whole way home. It used to break my heart to drop her off but now it breaks my heart picking her up. It is wonderful knowing she likes it there and that it is a wonderful place!
- She knows her eyes, mouth, and nose. She is more than willing to point out yours too! Even if that means her fingers go in your mouth, nose, or eyes.
We love Ellie more each day! She is constantly impressing us with what she has learned and can do. It is sad to see how big she has gotten but so amazing to know what a joy it is to have her! I am excited for the days and milestones to come but I know they will come on their own and I don't have to hope that they come soon.
